This is a terrific little CD for introducing the concept of skip counting with your kids. It has songs that count by 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s…all the way up to counting by 12s. The songs are quite catchy and not as annoying as most music written for kids. The lyrics all tell some Biblical story as well, so hey, it combines math and Bible studies.

What other math CD regularly gets requested by both a 4 yr old and a 7 yr old? The 4 yr old doesn’t get the counting but he thinks the songs are hilarious. In particular they love “Martha, Martha” about Mary and Martha. (Martha is counting the dishes she has to wash.)

Trust me, you’ll find yourself humming along….54, 60, 66, and 72 and didn’t they sparkle when she was through-ooo-ooo.
